For 70 years, Husky Corporation has served as a trustworthy guide, developing breakthrough, American-made fuel nozzles, safe-t-breaks, and accessories, plus relentlessly providing the most dependable customer service in the industry. But we never rest on our proven track record.
The Husky Corporation family of companies sets the standard for
petroleum dispensing and automotive customers with the highest quality
products made right here in the U.S.A. The company has developed a new video that shows what really makes Husky "A Breed Apart".
"Innovation is the core. It's what started us. It's what keeps us going today," said Husky President G.G. Sutcliffe.
The video provides an inside look at the company's product line and what makes Husky stand out from the competition. The company focuses on hanging hardware for the petroleum dispensing industry, where it holds 50 percent of the new nozzle market. Husky diversified into related transportation industries in recent years, which has permitted growth and expansion.
"What sets us apart is we remained an American manufacturer. We do all of our design work, customer service and manufacturing out of this facility in Pacific, Missouri," Suttcliffe said. "We are truly a state of the art manufacturer."
Husky has 170 employees and sells its more than 2,000 products in 63 countries. The video includes a look inside the facility and a discussion of five pillars on which the company is built: Safety, Quality, Customer Loyalty,
Team-building, and Productivity. Learn more at www.husky.com.
What is quite arguably the most important gathering of the year for the fuel and fluid handling industries takes place October 1-4, 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
Husky Corporation and its family of companies have long been supporters of the Petroleum Equipment Institute and of the PEI Convention at the NACS Show. The trade show portion of this event begins October 2. Husky leaders will be on hand to welcome industry professionals, suppliers, customers and friends at Booth 4921 in the Fuel Equipment & Services and Technology exhibits section. Here's a link to the floor plan and how to find Husky's exhibit https://nacs19.mapyourshow.com/8_0/floorplan/index.cfm?hallID=B&selectedBooth=booth~4921
The company will have key executives and engineers on hand to talk about how its products solve a variety of fueling, safety, environmental and performance problems. As a manufacturer of nozzles, swivels and Safe-T-Breaks for conventional, vapor, and high-flow petroleum dispensing markets.
One of the products in the spotlight will be the Husky EZ Lever, an innovation that provides ADA-compliant fuel dispensing. The unique two-piece lever design means that it takes about half the force to begin dispensing fuel compared to a standard one-piece nozzle lever. Here is a video that shows a bit more about the EZ Lever.
Additional markets for Husky include retail and commercial, DEF,
aviation, truck, farm and commercial. Oil and lube customers will be
able to check outs the new BJE MK6 Tank Alarm, a high/low system that can
monitor up to six tanks independently. It is a solution for use with
oil, waste oil, diesel fuel, antifreeze, water and other fluids with a
high flash point.
Husky has also solved forecourt clean-up of hydrocarbon spills and stains by utilizing microbes converting waste to non-hazardous and non-flammable materials. Oil Baron breaks down hydrocarbons into water and carbon dioxide, leaving surfaces clean, dry and oil-free.
Husky and it's family of companies looks forward to seeing you in Atlanta. But you can always get in touch with us at 800-325-3558 or a sales@husky.com.

The growth of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) market around the world is expected to continue for the next several years. Market research suggests that DEF sales should grow yearly at 5.42 percent (CAGR) between 2018 and 2022, according to a summary published at 360 Market Updates. The growth is driven by increased penetration of commercial vehicles with updated diesel engines, which spray DEF into the exhaust stream to convert harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions into nitrogen, water and a small amount of carbon dioxide.
Equipment used in DEF storage and dispensing must be made with materials that won't cause contamination, as the solution is comprised of 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water. DEF can cause dispensing equipment to clog outside its optimum temperature range of 12-86 F. Husky Corporation and BJE engineers understand the nuances of handling DEF, so their product designs use 100 percent ISO recognized DEF compatible materials.
BJE DEF Tank Monitors and Alarms
With the increase in DEF use by commercial vehicles, and growing demand for bulk handling options, BJE is now offering a complete line of DEF-compatible tank monitors. These products add to the company's established and trusted line of tank monitors and monitors.

Husky Corporation has named Zach Holcomb to the position of Engineering Manager. Holcomb will be responsible for the company’s 13-member engineering team with a focus on research and development, product development, continuous improvement and product cost reduction.
Holcomb was promoted from his previous position as Product Design Engineer, where he helped develop new fuel dispensing industry products after joining Husky in 2014.
“Zach has exhibited natural leadership skills in his development work so tagging him for expanded responsibilities was a natural,” said Husky Executive Vice President Brad Baker. “He has done a great job focusing on the needs of internal and external customers with his approach to product design. Husky needed an engineering manager to handle all the technical details and inspire others to greater levels of performance.”
Holcomb holds a BSME degree in Combustion Engines/Controls/Materials from the University of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. His previous experience includes holding the positions of R&D Engineer/Owner (with GenAcc, LLC) and Sales Engineer (with Eserv, a Perot Systems Company).
“I hope to have a project management approach as the engineering manager with intentions to be well-versed in all our projects to get them completed in a timely manner,” Holcomb said. “The history is pretty strong here with patents and innovative new products for the market. It will definitely be interesting and exciting to go beyond the fuel dispensing equipment market, working with new companies we acquire.”
Holcomb said it will be important to integrate the business units Husky has added in recent years so that each gets the proper amount of attention. He indicated the company has several new products under development involving a number of Husky Corporation operating divisions.
We thought we'd share a video of remarks that Husky Corporation President Grenville Sutcliffe delivered during an event in early August at the company's headquarters and manufacturing operations, along with a news release about the event. As Mr. Sutcliffe said to the gathering of employees and guests, "When we get a chance to tell the Husky story, we want to take it."
-----------------------------------------------
Husky Corporation, with a
nearly 70-year track record of growth, innovation and teamwork that has resulted
in industry-leading capabilities from its Missouri-based manufacturing
facilities, welcomed Missouri Senator Roy Blunt for what was billed as a ‘Meet
and Greet’ event focused on job creation.
Husky Corporation
President Grenville Sutcliffe, whose parents founded the petroleum dispensing
equipment manufacturing company in 1947, told a crowd of 150 employees, area
dignitaries and guests that he is always pleased to tell the Husky story to
those interested in hearing about its track record of success.
“We believe very strongly
in U.S. based manufacturing. Our quality is second to none. Just ask China –
where we send a lot of our products,” Sutcliffe said. “None of this company’s
success would be possible without a strong and dedicated team. It is wonderful
to see everyone on the Husky team working and progressing in the same direction. That’s what we have
here at Husky. A great team.”
Sutcliffe led Sen. Blunt and
U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (Missouri’s Third Congressional District) on a
tour of Husky Corporation production facilities. The company manufacturesgeneral fueling products, oil and lube products, aviation
fueling products and fluid line components for the automotive aftermarket.
Through strategic alliances and partnerships Husky Corporation also offers DEF
dispensing and storage systems, logistics optimization systems and liquid
loading arms. Sen. Blunt then offered some comments on job creation and
regulation to those in attendance.
“Right now 20 percent of what
you do is exported. Mr. Sutcliffe wants to get that number to 50 percent. As he
points out, if you have a product that competes all over the world, that drives
the economy too,” Blunt said.
“Thanks to the innovation
of our engineers – our product line continues to grow. That’s because we put
customers first. We try to solve their problems. I wish I could say the same
about all the regulations we have to deal with, that frankly get in the way of
innovation,” Sutcliffe said.
Sutcliffe noted, since Sen. Blunt was in a
political campaign at the time of his visit, that Husky would gladly extend the
same opportunity to visit the company to those on the other side of the
political aisle.
